LOOP is first and foremost a free marketplace for the EV community. We don't insert ourselves into every payment — but if you and the other party both want extra peace of mind, we can help coordinate a structured payment process.

This is not automatic. Escrow support is only arranged when both the buyer and seller specifically request it and agree to the terms.

We always recommend inspecting the car in person and confirming all details before you pay. If you'd like extra protection, you and the seller can jointly opt in to LOOP's optional escrow support, which holds payment until you confirm the car matches what was listed. Without escrow, disputes are handled directly between buyer and seller, and LOOP's support team can help mediate.
Battery State of Health, range, and capacity are self-reported by the seller straight from the vehicle's onboard system or manufacturer app, and every listing is clearly labelled as "self-reported, not verified". Sellers can attach dashboard screenshots for extra transparency, and the community can flag inaccurate listings. Certified on-site battery diagnostics are on our roadmap.
Absolutely. All payments are processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways. We never store your card details. LOOP's escrow account is held in a licensed financial institution regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia.
